I’m so excited to share this extended family session at the Storm Mountain Picnic area with you today! Jake has been a supporter of my business from the beginning, so it only felt right to capture his extended family photos! Over the past year, I’ve fallen in love with capturing all aspects of parenthood, and this was one of the sessions that helped with that!
Extended Family Session at Storm Mountain Amphitheatre
They wanted to capture their family photos in the mountains with the fall colors, with how much they love spending time outdoors as a family the Storm Mountain Amphitheatre in Big Cottonwood Canyon seemed like the perfect spot! I loved the mountains in the background with all of the fall trees surrounding them.
One of the things I love most about this session is that they brought a photo of their grandpa to include in some of the photos! Including the memory of a loved one makes family photos particularly special. I’ve done something similar with a few sessions now and they hold a special place in my heart.
I loved using the bridge to get photos of them walking and with the water behind them! You can see the connection they have as a family as they walk across the bridge chatting with each other! We wrapped up the session with probably my favorite group shot. This little rock wall area had an amazing canopy of trees overhead with the beautiful fall colors behind them!
To the Williams Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
Enjoy this little peek into this sweet extended family session!
